Senior Care Is Unaffordable: Working in senior care, I dealt with countless families breaking down in tears when they realized they couldn’t afford memory care or assisted living. In Nevada, memory care can cost up to $9,000 per month, and assisted living can cost up to $6,000. When
my own father was diagnosed with dementia, my family faced the same struggle. It would have cost over $10,000 per month to place both of my parents in care. Thankfully, my heroic brother and sister-in-law stepped up, took my parents in their home, and are taking great care of them
now — but most families aren’t that lucky. That’s why I authored the Senior Memory Care Assistance Act, which provides thousands in federal aid to help families afford proper care for their aging loved ones. No one should lose their life savings just to keep their parents safe. Elect
me, and I will drive this draft bill down the throats of every congress member in order to get it polished, passed, and implemented. Check out the draft bill below
