Healthcare should be universal and affordable. My Medicare for All Plan will cover families earning up to $400,000 and individuals earning up to $200,000, gradually reducing coverage for higher incomes until full private pay is reached at $800,000 per family or $400,000 per individual. It will also allow physicians to determine covered services through direct payments and independent oversight reviews. The plan also replaces the VA system, providing up to $5,000 per month in living expenses for veterans unable to work due to doctor-confirmed service-related injuries, physical or mental, with reviews every three months to adjust stipends as needed. Medicare for All Act – Draft Bill Summary (with Funding)

Section 1: Universal Access and Coverage.

Medicare shall be accessible to all individuals regardless of age. It will cover the majority of medical expenses for families earning up to $400,000 per year and individuals earning up to $200,000 per year, with a sliding scale

reduction for higher incomes.

Section 2: Provider Compensation and Coverage Determination.

Medical providers will be compensated directly for covered services Physicians will determine initial coverage, with independent oversight reviews ensuring proper coverage decisions.

Section 3: Replacement of V A Benefits.

The act will provide up to $5,000 per month for living expenses to military members unable to work or with limited earning capacity due to a doctor-confirmed service-related injury. Reviews will occur every three

months to adjust stipends as needed.

Section 4: Funding Provision.

This Medicare for All program will be funded by a 3% federal surtax on individuals earning more than $7 million per year.
